I was born in Romania and from a young age, I developed a passion for sports. I played soccer, handball, and tennis competitively until the age of 14 when I decided to pursue tennis as a main sport and track and field for healthy body development. This path helped me develop athletic skills and abilities while developing mental toughness and discipline. I have graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Econometrics&Quantitative Economics and Psychology. I have played for their amazing tennis program under the guidance of two of the best coaches in the country (Bid Goswami and Howard Endelman) where I have achieved first-team all ivy accolades every year in singles, and second-team all ivy in doubles. I have helped the Columbia Tennis Team achieve a top 10 national Division 1 ranking while achieving a top 50 college ranking in singles and doubles. Professionally I have achieved the highest ranking of 942 ATP with wins and three-set losses to many top 100 and top 200 ATP players. My highest UTR was 14.32, which ranked me at that time in the top 300 players in the world. I have coaching experience of more than 10 years and 4 years in the Hamptons. Some of my students have achieved the top 800 ATP rankings or have been high-level college players. I have also helped players improve their UTR by one or two points in less than a year. I have developed the coaching passion and skill from top college coaches, but also from former top 50 ATP players. I currently still play on the tour, but COVID has halted my tournament schedule. Looking forward to get together with you on the tennis court and make your tennis game better!
